Risk Personalities of Pilots: A Discussion with Ken Cerney

We’re very excited to announce that we will be running a free webinar on Thursday 13th December with Ken Cerney, discussing his research using the Risk Type Compass® with helicopter pilots and crew members.

Ken is a retired US Army soldier, leader and pilot, entering service as an infantry private and retiring as an Army Aviator, Lieutenant Colonel and Chief of Leadership Training with the Army Reserve Readiness Training Command. Ken is uniquely placed to comment on the aviation industry’s training requirements and how the personalities of pilots contribute to their decision-making in the air.

Ken’s recent work with the Risk Type Compass® has been published, in two parts, by Psychological Consultancy Ltd – you can view the papers by clicking on the image to the right.
